Ministerial conference “Sustainable Tourism – Common Policies of EU Member States”


Tourism has been anncounced as a strategic priority of the Romanian Presidency of the EU.

A Tourism Working Group will be activated and a Ministerial conference “Sustainable Tourism – Common Policies of EU Member States” will take place on the 2nd of April.

ETC 70th Anniversary & Tourism Talks


To celebrate its 70 years of activity, the European Travel Commission organised in Antwerpen a Gala dinner (21st of November) and the ETC Tourism Talks (22nd of November).

NECSTouR Secretariat attended both the events.

UNWTO Affiliate Members Meeting


The Meeting will be an excellent opportunity to discuss potentional collaboration between Affiliate Members and UNWTO and for UNWTO to strengthen its ties with its Affiliate Members. In addition, it will also allow for discussion on the programme of work of the Affiliate Members Programme ahead of the 40th Plenary Session of the Affiliate Members taking place in November.

63rd Meeting of the UNWTO Regional Commission for Europe


The 63rd  Meeting of the UNWTO Commission for Europe (CEU), will be held between 11-13  June 2018, in Prague, Czech Republic. The meeting will be opened by Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), and H.E. Ms. Klára Dostálová, Minister for Regional Development of the Czech Republic. It will count with the presence of the European high-level government representatives responsible for tourism, private sector tourism stakeholders and representatives of the academia.
