Four Regional Examples on Talent Development in Tourism presented at the 2nd UNWTO Global Conference

In order to deliver a NECSTouR big picture on the Talent Development in Tourism, NECSTouR President, Region of Catalonia - Mr Patrick Torrent - presented the experiences of Catalonia, Emilia Romagna, the Valencian Community and the Business University of Prague.

That presentation happened during the 2nd UNWTO Global Conference on "Talent Development in Tourism: strategies for Competitive Destinations", organised in Marbella (Andalusia), from the 8th to the 10th of October 2017.



22nd AMFORHT World Forum in Tourism and Education


The overall Forum will be held as well as the AMFORHT General Assembly at the Novotel-Sofitel Eu-rope in Luxembourg City, together with BBI Luxembourg (Brussels Business Institute of Higher Educa-tion), from 21st to 23rd March 2018.
This year, our international speakers, AMFORHT members and attendants will all discuss together around the following contemporary theme: “Transform our world with education: Cooperation, Education and Development”.

Following the success of the first edition of the UNWTO Global Conference on Talent Development and Education in Tourism held in Bilbao in 2015, we are pleased to inform you that the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and Les Roches Global Hospitality Education, with support of the city of Marbella´s Town Hall, are organizing the 2nd UNWTO Global Conference on Talent Development and Education in Tourism: Strategies for Competitive Destinations to be held from 8-10 October, 2017 in Marbella, Spain.

On 21st October in Brussels, the European Commission, CSES and NECSTouR are organising the final conference presenting the results, highlighting good practice and providing recommendations from the study undertaken in all 28 EU Member States on the training and education systems for tourism and their performance against industry needs.
