Last October 24th the Think Tank of the European Parliament published on request of the TRAN – Transport and Tourism - Committee a study on, the recent developments and future challenges of European Tourism. NECSTouR members widely contributed on its main findings.

NECSTouR Participation into the Meeting of the UNWTO Working Group on SDGs Support

 

On 13 February 2019, the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) will organise a meeting to enable all the interested affiliated members to present their current initiatives related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and see how to move forward with the activities of the specific Working Group on SDGs Support which has been launched last year.

NECSTouR and CPMR committed to take steps towards in their collaboration about their involvement in political and technical initiatives concerning existing and future European Tourism policy and strategies by signing together a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Kick-Off meeting of the 16th European Week of Regions and Cities

 

The Kick-Off meeting of the 16th European Week of Regions and Cities will be organised on Thursday 25 January at 11 o'clock, to be followed by a reception, at the European Committee of the Regions, Rue Belliard 101, Brussels.

Registration to attend the Kick-off Meeting is open until 15 January, 12.00.
