Call for speakers: m-Tourism Day 2017, 10th October

The Telecom Valley – the main digital cluster in the French Riviera – is organinsing this year the 7th International m-Tourism Day, a day that displays innovative projects regarding Tourism and Digital Technology. More information about the previous edition of the m-Tourism Day are available at m-tourism-day.eu.

After covering Open Data, Sustainable, Smart, Accessible Tourism, Big Data and Collaborative Tourism, they are focusing this year on the theme of "Internet of Things for Tourism".

Call for Partners COSME 2017 from the Ministry of Tourism of Romania

Please find a call for partners for a pilot project related to the promotion and developnent of the Cultural European Routes of traditions and handicrafts listed in the UNESCO World Heritage as transnational thematic products linked to Cultural and Creative Industry.

This project is proposed for 2018 as a European Cultural Heritage Year.

14th UNWTO Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Tourism : Call for applications


Applications for the 14th edition of the UNWTO Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Tourism by the World Tourism Organization are now being accepted. Winners will be announced in January 2018 on the occasion of the UNWTO Awards Ceremony, to be held at the International Tourism Fair in Spain (FITUR).

Applications for the UNWTO Awards span four categories: Public Policy and Governance; Enterprises; Non-Governmental Organizations, and Research and Technology.

Call for tenders Cosme/Blueprint for sectoral cooperation on SKILLS IN TOURISM


Please be informed that EASME has just published the Call for tender on the Blueprint for sectoral cooperation on skills in tourism: enhancing the image of careers in the tourism sector (under COSME funds).

The Call aims to boost employment and employability in the tourism sector, overcome the mismatches between the supply and demand for labour in the tourism labour market, and support quality jobs in tourism.

Call for Partnership on Blueprint for Sectoral Cooperation on skills from Cardiff


The Tourism, Hospitality and Events Department within the Cardiff School of Management at Cardiff Metropolitan University in collaboration with Jlag and Federation for European Sustainable Tourism (FEST) are taking an application forward for the Erasmus+ Sector Skills Alliance Call for applications due on the 2nd May 2017.  This is a 4 year funding stream of 4 million Euros to support Lot 3, A Blueprint for Sectoral Cooperation on skills

Call for Good Practices on Sustainability Beach Model in the MED area

This first phase - from April until August - is aimed to define and to scale at the European level a MED model of Sustainable Beaches, starting from the "green beaches model" developed by Larnaca and Famagusta District Development Agency, partner of the Project.
