Event

Fostering sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean region

 

The MED Sustainable Tourism Community will organise on the 9th of October 2019 an event about "Fostering sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean region".

Baltic Sea World Heritage Summit

 

The Summit has been a conference and a forum for coastal World Heritage Sites around the Baltic Sea, to strengthen cooperation and exchange of best practices. The summit has been attended by leading politicians and key individuals from the region.

MITOMED+ Capitalisation Conference - "Towards Improved Governance and Management for Sustainable M&C Tourism"

 

This event corresponds to the Capitalisation Conference of the Interreg MED MITOMED+ (Models of Integrated Tourism in the MEDiterranean Plus) project. It aims to disseminate its results and encourage their replication beyond the project’s area. It is aimed to EU policy makers, destination managers, tourism professionals and regional and local policy makers, among others.

Toward Policy Recommendations on Sustainable Tourism: Shaping the Results of the MED Community

 

The MED Sustainable Tourism Community will gather on 27-28 March in Split, Croatia, to work together towards the drafting of the policy recommendations. Two workshops have been organised at this purpose, one facilitated by the Community Building team and the other one by the Capitalisation teams of the BleuTourMed project and four external experts.

As part of the MITOMED+ Project, NECSTouR Secretariat and some of its members (Andalusia, Insittute of Agriculte and Tourism in Porec and CNR-IBIMET) attended the Workshop of the MED Sustainability Community "Towards Policy Recommendations on Sustainable Tourism: Shaping the Results of the MED Community".
