My name is Adriana Tramullas De Nys, and I recently joined NECSTouR as a Projects Officer with the aim to support the team in a variety of ongoing European projects linked to sustainable tourism governance. My mission will be to:
NECSTouR, the Network of European Regions for Sustainable and Competitive Tourism, is a Brussels-based non-profit association that gathers more than 45 European regional tourism authorities and 30 associated members (universities, research institutes, representatives of tourism enterprises and sustainable tourism associations). We empower destinations to face the challenges to achieve a smarter and more sustainable tourism governance by sharing and deploying best practice solutions with our members and our key partners across Europe.
The D3HUB project will create a self-sustainable European Tourism Data Competence Centre to support tourism destinations in developing their green and digital transitions.
Around 240 European DMOs and SMEs will benefit from the competence centre’s services, such as training, capacity building, awareness and more, by the end of 2027.
This year's BTO (Be Travel Onlife), Italy's leading innovation tourism fair on Digital Tourism and Innovation, took place on 22-23 November in Florence, hosted and organised by NECSTouR's vice-presidency, the Tuscany Region.
Hello, my name is Clara Morales Llobet, and I will be the new Communications Assistant seconded by the Catalan Tourist Board to engage the NECSTouR members in the 2030 Pathway’s Process until next February.

In a groundbreaking collaboration, our Tourism of Tomorrow Lab (ToTLab) department and its esteemed Spanish premium members - Turismo Andaluz, Basquetur, Catalonia, Navarra and Valencia Region - have taken significant strides towards a data-driven European tourism policy at the Tourism Innovation Summit 2023 (TIS).

Paris, France - The NECSTouR Annual General Meeting 2023 took place on June 6th and 7th at the Île-de-France Regional Council in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, Paris, bringing together more than 30 regional tourism leaders from across Europe. The event aimed to foster collaboration and share strategies to make tourism a catalyst for prosperous and sustainable communities.
Last March, NECSTouR and Turismo Lanzarote jointly organised the Masterclass 'Empowering Destination Leaders to Deliver Sustainability', gathering 18 regions from 8 European countries. With immense gratitude, we look back at this event which brings us another step further in securing sustainable tourism.
