NECSTouR showcases good practices for the four pillars of InCircle

Thomas Guillot, project officer in NECSTouR permanent Secretariat, was invited to deliver a keynote on the “main bottlenecks and opportunities for Sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean” during the Interreg MED InCircle final event in Barcelona, taking place one day before the II MED Sustainable Tourism Convention.

NECSTouR supports WINTERMED Policy Recommendations for Better Cooperation in the MED

As WINTERMED’s associated partner and their horizontal angel in the Interreg MED Sustainable Tourism community, NECSTouR was invited to take part in the policy section of WINTERMED Final and Capitalisation Event on May 31st. The theme was "Shared vision and commitment to year-round sustainable tourism in Mediterranean island destinations and beyond", the policy section included the participation of Josiane Cutajar (MEP) and Valentina Superti (European Commission).

Register to the Interreg Euro-MED Academy course on Sustainable Tourism

On June 6, The Interreg Euro-Med Academy launches its free online learning program on "Sustainable Tourism and Mobility for the Mediterranean". Designed in the framework of the Interreg MED programme, by two international experts - Nagore Uresandi Espinosa PhD, CEO of IN2destinations, and Ioanna Pagoni, PhD in Civil & Transportation Engineer - the course will jointly address sustainable tourism and mobility issues.

NECSTouR Exchanges with European Hotels and Restaurants on Joint Strategies towards Tourism Recovery

On 28 April, NECSTouR Vice-President Torrent, joined the General Assembly of HOTREC in Prague. He brought an overview on how NECSTouR is accelerating the European Tourism Recovery through the implementation of the Tourism Transition Pathway and other strategies on sustainable tourism, in front of the representatives of the umbrella Association of Hotels, Restaurants, Pubs and Cafes in Europe.
