NECSTouR and the Catalonia Region organised this Workshop as part of the Digital Platforms working group on Digital Platforms.
The aim was to:

• • Maximize the positive impacts of the collaborative economy and tourism through a participative dialog between the different actors: public, private, citizens at different governmental levels from local to international
  • Position NECSTouR as reference on sustainable and competitive tourism governance both at regional and EU level
  • Catalunya initiative: to launch the 2017 Declaration/Manifest of Tourism and Collaborative Economy: to be signed by regions and cities both European and International

The event has been attended by around 150 participants,representing public, private, citizens at different governmental levels from local too international. Another 150 people followed the event from the streaming.
Speakers and panelists of this workshop gathered the perspective form all the main actors involved: Regional Representatives, Representatives from the private sector and some of the main digital platforms involved, the European Commissiona, the European Parliament and the European Committee of the Regions.
