NECSTouR Permanent Secretariat and representatives from the other Members involved in this project – Tuscany Region, Andalusia, Porec’s Institute of Agriculture and Turism and the Univesity of Girona - attended the second project meeting of MITOMED+ Project, on the 10th and 11th of October, in Girona (ES).

“As NECSTouR – Tomaso Comazzi from the Secretariat declared – we had the opportunity to plan with the other members the transferability phase of this project and to involve other interested Regions from our network and the CPMR”

That will happen next spring, at the end of two pilot activities that will start now in the framework of the MITOMED+ Project: testing indicators for a competitive coastal and martime tourism and developing a green beach model.

“Moreover – Mr Comazzi continued – that the meeting has been an opportunity to starting the joint preparation of the several external events that will be organise next year in the framework of this project, to disseminate its main outcomes through the other MED Regions, the European Institutions and the stakeholders.”

The meeting in Girona, has been also the occasion to present and discuss the Coordination with the Horizontal project, to update the partners on the results of the HP meeting in Athens and to presentation of projects having similarities with Mitomed Plus and way forward to cooperation.
