PANORAMED "Mediterranean as a Smart Destination. No more cliches"


The Event will highlight some cliché on the topic of SMART destinations and will focus on approaches/solutions sucessfully implemented in the MED area. The event is co-organised by the Tuscany Region.

“Mediterranean as a SMART destination” is one of the main objectives to achieve for PANORAMED Project, as stressed in the Gaps and Growth Opportunity Report (GGOR), a key document that gathers the point of view and the experience of relevant actors and stakeholders in the area.

St Andrew's Lecture "Sustainable Tourism Growth in a Changing Climate"


As part of the celebrations marking its the 20th anniversary, Scotland House Brussels is delighted to invite you to our annual St Andrew’s Lecture, in honour of Scotland's patron saint. St Andrew's Day is a celebration of Scotland as a diverse, innovative and welcoming nation with a rich heritage, warm heart and inclusive spirit. Our lecture is an annual opportunity for us to reflect on Scotland’s place in Europe and the world.

EcoSTRIM Project Conference


Anci Toscana and Tuscany Region partners of the ECOSTRIM Project organise the workshop "@trazione MARE - Cross-border strategies for the innovation of the coastal tourist offer" (Aquarium of Livorno, 22 October 2019).

The workshop will represent an opportunity of a cross-border comparison between the various actors - public and private - of the tourism sector with the aim of identifying practices and strategies for a new approach to maritime and coastal tourism.

Second STAR Cities Interregional Learning Session


The second Interregional Learning Session of the STAR Cities Project will take place in Kaunas from 11 to 13 September 2019.

The event will focus on the link between tourism and locals and communities.

MITOMED+ Capitalisation Conference - "Towards Improved Governance and Management for Sustainable M&C Tourism"


This event corresponds to the Capitalisation Conference of the Interreg MED MITOMED+ (Models of Integrated Tourism in the MEDiterranean Plus) project. It aims to disseminate its results and encourage their replication beyond the project’s area. It is aimed to EU policy makers, destination managers, tourism professionals and regional and local policy makers, among others.
